Juicing

I very happily inherited my Mom and Ray’s juicer and have been having so much fun juicing my fruit and veg.

It has been said that juicing is the key to giving you a radiant, energetic life, and truly optimal health. I often hear we should have 6-8 servings of vegetables and fruits per day and very few of us actually get that. Juicing is an easy way to guarantee that you will reach your daily target. Juicing helps you absorb all the nutrients from the fruit and vegetables.

Two recipes I can share with you that I have tried and loved:

Apple, Pear & Carrot

  • 2 Apples
  • 2 Pears
  • Handful of Parsley
  • 5 Carrots

Apple, Orange, Mint & Cucumber

  • 2 Apples
  • 2 Oranges
  • Handful of Mint
  • Half a Cucumber
  • 1 Celery Stalk

I will later post the benefits of each of the above mentioned fruit and veg, but right now I am now hitting the beach for a bit of yoga – it really is a perfect evening for it!
